We went with my mom and Brian to their house in Port Angeles for the weekend. It was Rowan’s second trip and Isla’s first. SO NICE to get away for the weekend. My mom did all the cooking/dishes which was such a great break for me. She is also so great about keeping Rowan entertained. They rent the house out as a vacation rental and it is pretty much booked ALL summer besides a day or two here or there so I’m glad we had the chance to go.
It was pretty windy and chilly, hence the puffy coats, but still fun and we still spent lots of time outside.

My mom bought this elaborate horse sleeping bag and pillow on one of her trips, when Rowan was a baby. We’ve been waiting for a time when he could use it, and this was it! He thought he was pretty special.

Our room from the outside and the inside. Wish we could have curled up with a hot cup of coffee and sat outside. Two kids kind of put a stop to that. They still get up by 5:30, ha!
My step dad made this sign. I plan to take a photo each year of the kids underneath. 
The trip went WAY too fast. Can’t wait to go back!
