Rowan LOVES babies, and is now quite in love with his little sis. It is REALLY sweet. He wants to hold her a lot, but obviously doesn’t quite know how to be gentle all the time, which means I have to keep a very close eye on him at all times. He likes to pat her head and kiss her. Everytime she cries or fusses he says, “ Oh no! Babies!!! Babies Ky (cry)” and then runs to comfort her.
We decided to give Rowan a gift from Isla when they met. Isla gave him a garbage truck (one of his current obsessions) and when my mom asked him where he got it the other day, he said “ sister!” I was so shocked that he actually remembered / made the connection. Here are a few pics of him opening the gift right after he met her.
