My mom treated Russ, Rowan, and I to a day at Remlinger Farms in Carnation. I haven’t been since I was a kid, and it was such a fun day! Rowan had an absolute blast and was overwhelmed by excitement. I think he’ll have even more fun when he can go on more rides in the coming years.
Our cheesy family photo op: I was so excited to have Rowan take his first pony ride, but he only wanted to pet little “Spice”, and was adamant about NOT getting on. Maybe next time. :)
This place is a boy’s dream! He got to “drive” tractors, sit in a real bus, and old firetruck. Absolute heaven for this kiddo. Checking out the donkey, chickens, and even got to feed a goat! Riding on the train! I think this was definitely Rowan’s favorite part of the day. He kept doing sign language for train and making choo choo noises while smiling ear to ear. He was also waving to anything and everything in sight. It was so cute! Next he got to ‘drive’ an antique car. I wanted to go too, until I read this stupid sign…. Maybe it would have thrown me into labor, and I should have gone! :)
On the firetruck. He didn’t want to get off, and kept telling the other kids, “My turn!” when they tried to touch the wheel. “ MOO” he says!
Hanging out with his favorite person, “Mor-Mor!”
Digging in the sand. He loved this too!
What a great day. Thanks Mom!!
